Join together as a family and church Tuesday, December 24, at SSFBC's Candlelight Christmas Eve service as we celebrate the birth of our Savior. The service will begin at 5:00 PM and last about an hour. Childcare will not be provided.
Parenting children is an awesome responsibility that often can feel overwhelming. “Am I doing this right? How do I lead my children well? How can I make sure they love and follow the Lord?” These, and so many other questions, flood the thoughts of mothers and fathers every day. SSFBC values and places a high importance of the role of parents in the formation of their children’s spiritual lives. We want to equip parents to nurture the faith of their children.
On Sunday, January 12, we are excited to welcome Dr. Richard Ross to San Saba’s First Baptist Church. Dr. Ross will teach three different sessions that Sunday, all of which will encourage parents in their role of leading their children spiritually. Get all the info here.
Grab a blanket or chair and bring the whole family to Family Movie Night in the Children’s sanctuary! The Star, a wonderful Christmas movie, will start at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, December 18. Hot chocolate and movie snacks provided. (Kiddos in pajamas are totally welcome!)
Families will meet in the west parking lot and grab a seat on a trailer as we go Christmas Caroling around town to shut-ins and end our day caroling for the local nursing home residents.
SSFBC Kids Ministry will participate in the community Lighted Christmas Parade again this year. The parade is December 14. Happy kids and adults are needed as riders! Contact Kelli Barker to reserve a spot for your kinder-6th grader. Younger children are welcome if they are accompanied by an adult. Seating is limited!

This Christmas at SSFBC we will worship the Lord of the Earth, born as a babe in Bethlehem. Come be reminded of the reason for the Christ child’s birth in SSFBC’s 2024 Christmas program, “The Sounding Joy,” on Sunday, December 8, at 6:00 PM.
ll 7th-12th graders are invited to a Christmas concert with Shane & Shane at Harris Creek Baptist Church in McGregor, TX on Wednesday, December 4th at 7 PM. This will be an awesome time of worship as we start the Christmas season. Click this link for more info and to sign-up!

Everyone is invited to eat together after the Worship Service on Sunday, November 10, for our annual Thanksgiving Meal. In conjunction with the meal, we will have a baked goods silent auction raising money for Operation Christmas Child shipping costs.

To prepare for SSFBC’s Packing Party, we will be collecting new toys, personal items, and school supplies for shoeboxes. Donated items can be placed in the marked toy trunk in the foyer. The Packing Party will be Saturday, November 2, at 10AM in the Fellowship Hall.
Movie night at Mill Pond Park on Wednesday night, October 30th! Join us as we watch a movie, eat hot dogs, popcorn, and movie candy, paint some pumpkins, and have a great night. All 7th-12th grade students are welcome. We’ll go a little later than normal, 6-8 PM.
