SSFBC strives to fulfill the Great Commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

San Saba’s First Baptist Church is a cooperating member of the Baptist General Convention of Texas as well as the Southern Baptist Convention. These cooperative programs financially support missions both locally and globally. It is a way of combining resources to enable more missions, evangelism, and ministry to those in need and those who have yet to hear the gospel. 

SSFBC also partners with other sending organizations such as International Commission to offer short-term mission trips throughout the year.
