SSFBC’s Spring Conference will be filled with worship and the Word. Come be refreshed. Come be refilled. Come be reignited with love for Christ, His church, His word, and the lost people of this world. With guests Kie Bowman, Donnie Anthony, and Richard Taylor each preaching a different night, the Word is sure to be preached and the gospel proclaimed.

Each night a free meal will be served in the Fellowship Hall at 5:30PM. Childcare will be available for kids 3 years old and younger. All kids are welcome in the services!

Kie Bowman recently retired from being the Senior Pastor of Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin, Texas. Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Kie arrived in Texas for Seminary in the 1980′s where he earned a Master of Divinity and a Doctor of Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth. Following his Seminary, Kie and his family moved to the Atlanta area where he served two churches in 10 years. In 1997 they went to Hyde Park in Austin where he served as Senior Pastor until March of 2023. For the last 40+ years Kie has been passionate about prayer, revival, evangelism, the Spirit-filled Christian life, and teaching/preaching the Word of God.

Donnie Anthony currently serves as the Mission Pastor for Mission City Church with campuses in San Antonio and Boerne. He has been on staff at Mission City Church for 24 years serving in various capacities. Donnie is also the author of Share Jesus Fearlessly, A Simple Guide to Evangelism and The Fearless Growth Guide. He is the founder of The Fearless Movement, a non-profit group dedicated to teaching personal evangelism. He has served in full time Christian ministry for 48 years serving on 6 church staffs in 3 states in various capacities during that time. He holds an undergraduate degree is from East Texas Baptist University and a Masters degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the proud father of 3 grown boys, 2 daugher-in-laws and one grandchild named Atticus. He and his wife Trinetta now reside in Boerne. In his off time he enjoys restoring classic cars.

Richard Taylor currently serves as the Church Health & Leadership Associate with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention. Before serving in this role he was the Associate Director of Church Planting. Richard is also the former Director of Evangelism for the Baptist Convention of New York, where he served for 10 years. Richard preaches revivals, leads workshops, seminars, and conferences on evangelism, strategic planning and leadership development for churches and other organizations. An effective communicator who challenges and helps people move beyond mediocrity. Richard received educational training from Texas A & I University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served for over 25 years in various ministry, church and denominational capacities. Originally from Corpus Christi, he and his wife Romona currently live in Watauga.
