Mission San Saba is a local, non-profit organization that completely renovates the home of one deserving homeowner over the course of a week each summer. Community members from various churches in town come together to do the work and show the love of Christ to the homeowner.
Here are some ways for you to get involved:
Give toward the kitchen remodel
SSFBC sponsors the kitchen in each year’s renovation. Please consider giving to Mission San Saba to help cover the kitchen remodel costs. Checks can be made out to SSFBC with ‘Mission San Saba’ in the memo. You can also purchase an item off of the Amazon Wishlist here.
Help with the renovation
All skill levels of workers are needed during the renovation week. Whether you can’t tell a hammer from a paintbrush, or are a licensed electrician, your help is needed. Come all week! Come for a morning! Drop off some cookies and Gatorades! Everyone is able to contribute.
Feed hungry workers
During the week all volunteers are fed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at The Father’s House. If you would like to know how you can get involved with helping with the meals contact Marissa Kilman at (325)205-0128.
